The mission of Back Mountain Harvest is to provide an intentional journey for individuals to develop into fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19,20; 22:37-39).  The vision of our church is to Connect people to God, Connect people to Others, Connect people to Ministry, and Connect people to the World.

Pastor Ray and Patty Petts

Lead Pastor

Pastor Ray is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He graduated from Central Bible College. Before arriving at Back Mountain Harvest in August, 2010, as an associate Pastor for three and a half years and then Lead Pastor since August, 2014, he served as Dickson City Assembly’s Lead Pastor for ten years, as well as their Associate Pastor prior and other leadership roles throughout the district.

Pastor Ray and his wife, Patty were married in February of 1998 and have three children, Preston, Cali, & Eden. In 2007 they had a regional vision to promote unity among churches and organized ‘Healing Rain’ to provide a platform where the emphasis was healing in the midst of worshiping Jesus. Besides her full time employment, Patty serves aside her husband as a ministry help in different areas, as well as assisting in our worship ministry.

 

  

Pastor Jack and Patti Rehill

Assistant Pastor

Pastor Jack is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Kings College, as well as a Masters of Social Work degree from Marywood University.

Also a PA licensed clinical social worker, Pastor Jack has worked in the mental health field & Christ-directed counseling for over 38 years.

Pastor Jack and his wife, Patti, were married in August of 1971 and have four children & two granddaughters. Patti has been an Administrative Assistant at Back Mountain Harvest for over 19 years.

 

 

Pastor Linda and Greg Sapack

Children’s Pastor

Pastor Linda is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God International Fellowship. She graduated from Central Bible College and studied music at Marywood University.

Pastor Linda’s extensive work with children encompasses three decades. Among a variety of ministry work, over 16 years ago she started “Crosswalk”, a children’s mobile outreach program. Pastor Linda & her husband Greg married in July, 2013. Greg’s gifting in design & construction make him a very integral part of Pastor Linda’s BMHA Kid’s Ministry team.

 

 

Pastor Chris and Sam McNaney

Student Ministries Pastor 

 

Pastor Chris is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from the University of Valley Forge.

Over the years, Pastor Chris has served in a variety of ministry leadership roles as well as utilizing his musical talents in worship. He came on board as the Student Ministries Pastor at Back Mountain Harvest in 2015, and also serves in our worship ministry.

Pastor Chris and his wife, Sam, were married in September 2015 and reside in Dallas. She also attended the University of Valley Forge, and earned an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She devotes much of her energy to working with Pastor Chris and Apex Students.

Sarah and Charles Makarewicz

Music Director
 

Sarah’s love for music began when she had her first piano lesson at age four. She was raised in a musical family by parents who were worship leaders, as well as being mentored by other experienced worship leaders. Sarah became Music Director & Worship Leader at Back Mountain Harvest in January, 2010.

Under her leadership the team has produced The Sounds of Christmas Concert, Choir presentations, and their first live CD, “Heaven’s Sound.” She has arranged music for “The Gift” & written original musical pieces. Sarah and her husband, Charles, were married in October 2008, and have two cats, Miles and Emily.
