1. What time are your Worship Celebrations?
On Sundays we have two morning services at 9am and 11 am. Our Kids’ Church is held during both of these service times.
On Wednesdays we have a variety of groups that meet on a weekly basis. The Student Ministries Group (Grades 6-12) meets at 6:30pm in the Student Ministry Center. The Weekly Worship & Prayer Group meets in the Worship Center at 7pm. In addition, our BMHA Kids’ program meets at 7pm in the Kids’ Wing. Various Adult Studies meet on the church campus throughout the week, and the offerings change several times a year. Please see the home page of BMHA.org or this month’s Newsletter for our current studies, times, and locations.
2. What is available for my children?
On Sunday mornings at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. celebrations, Kids Church (ages 6-12), Wee Church (ages 3-5) and Nursery (ages infant to 2) are available. Check-in your children in the Kids’ Wing hallway found at the desk of the rear exit of the Worship Center.
3. Do I have to dress up?
Back Mountain Harvest Assembly is a casual, contemporary Christian church. We want you to be comfortable – whether that means jeans and a t-shirt, or slacks and a button-up.
4. There are a lot of people here. How can I connect with others?
As a church grows larger, it is very important for attenders to connect with others in small groups. To accomplish this, we have a number of different ways to form meaningful relationships and lasting friendships. You can get involved in a ministry to meet others with the same passion as you. You can also attend a small group in the comfort of homes throughout the Northeast Pennsylvania region.
In addition to ministry and small home groups, we encourage you to sit back and chat with others over a cup of coffee in our SMC Coffee Lounge before or after service. It is located in the Student Ministry Center on the campus of Back Mountain Harvest Assembly.
